Welcome to Greyhound Cottage, a home from home. It is only a three minute walk from the historic Kendal town centre and just a couple of hundred yards from the famous 1657 Chocolate House!
Kendal is known as ‘The Gateway to the Lakes’, and makes a great base to explore England’s beautiful Lake District.
With your own parking space at the back of the cottage, you can easily drive to many wonderful sites such as the beautiful Bowness-on-Windermere, Grasmere – the home of Sarah Nelson’s world famous gingerbread and Ambleside – fabled locally as a “walkers’ and dog lovers’ paradise”.
There is something for everyone in the Lakes. Greyhound Cottage is a cosy, dog-friendly retreat for the adventurous and peace-seeking alike.
We genuinely love Kendal, the Lake District and everything the area has to offer people and pets alike. We look forward to welcoming you to the most beautiful place on earth.
